Creative Spark

POP Spa & Lounge

POP is to be located within the Vida Hotel in downtown Dubai. POP provides a ‘quick fix’ experience that leaves our guests happy and regenerated. POP works with the local community, using solid local knowledge gathered over the years here in Dubai, while infusing that with the understanding of exactly what the ‘X, Y & Z- generation’ hotel guest is looking for today …

The interior environment for POP spa & lounge not only looks good but smells & tastes good as well. Bio-centric systems integrate the latest wellness technology including ‘circadian lighting’ that renews guest’s energy, while ‘pure’ filtered water, in all our treatments and elixirs, promotes healthy skin.

Creative Spark

The Edition Dubai

The design for the Edition Dubai can be described as understated yet luxury curated for the evolved traveler. The traveler of today that understands minimalism is new benchmark for ulimate luxury and refined elegance is more than opulence. Its about the appreciation of finer things in life, appreciating less is more, design classics with attention to detail in terms of material selection & material fabrication. Large focus on natural materials of the finest quality.

There is quite a lot of Emphasis on the interior architecture and its volume. We have a triple height arched ceiling in the lobby which frames the Burj Khalifa as you get closer to the façade.

Creative Spark

Studio One Dubai

Studio One has become a real home from home environment through its immersive cinematic character, naturally enforcing an authentic connection to all that pass through its threshold. The narrative has resulted in a cozy space that everyone can relate to and feel comfortable within. Nostalgic senses exude from the entity’s cinematic expressions right from the old school TV feature that greets guests from the onset of their experience through to the playful “on air” lighting features that illuminate whenever a room is occupied.

The project shows innovative solutions maximizing not only the use of space, moreover, an intelligent design approach and thought-provoking solutions.

In quest of ‘Surprise’; the elusive element in design

In this age of ultimate connection (social media, Internet of Things etc), the unlimited access to information brought a new challenge for any individual.
Hospitality industry has a new commodity: The element of surprise. As the majority of what was once inaccessible is now within digital reach, we are all in search of this element; be it a designer or a guest. The designer is challenged with maintaining the ability to surprise a guest who is in anticipation of being surprised. The presentation will be a visual journey to provoke the senses and question how this elusive element takes form in today’s design agenda, and what the prospects for the future are.
