Just how well connected are you?
We all know how important networking is for our careers, business development and creating opportunities but just how well connected are you? This fast paced and interactive workshop will look at the quality of your connections as well as how to build and maintain your key contacts. Contacts without a relationship are just contacts and not much can be done with these. But brilliant networkers have relationships, care about these relationships and see networking in a far broader context. This means creating amazing results. Come prepared to get stuck in and take your networking up a notch!

The Flemming’s Hotel
The Fleming’s Hotel, Frankfurt-Messe is poised to become the buzzing German metropolis’ latest four-star destination, following a comprehensive renovation led by Wilson Associates. The nearly 247.74-square-meter property refresh will transform the guest experience –– featuring a wholly reimagined arrival lobby, period-inspired bar and restaurant, and guest rooms resuited to the needs of Europe’s most discerning travelers.
The redesign for the Fleming’s Hotel is rooted in the building’s history, formerly housing a popular record label, which creates a scheme hallmarked by industrial detailing, geometric patterns, and tactile textures –– all drawn together though the strategic use of color blocking. Each of the finishes, patterns, accessories and pieces of art recall the silhouettes and sounds of the vintage vinyl collections that once lived onsite in a revived setting.
Rooms are slated for completion in July 2020, while the public areas will be finalized in January 2021.

Fraser Suites Hamburg
Germany’s first Fraser Suites has opened its doors in the heart of Hamburg. Located in the former headquarters of the city’s tax authority, the listed landmark begins a new era as a 5-star hotel transformed by interior architecture studio JOI-Design.
The design team faced a particular challenge in that the building was originally intended to create a sense of “awe” as an imposing legal authority rather than an inviting hotel. Therefore, it was crucial their concept lifted the heavy, oppressive appearance and transformed it into something with elegance, delicacy and lightness.
Seemingly countless crystals suspended from the lobby’s ceiling form an eye-catching installation that inconspicuously reflects the interior palette. Like the public areas, the 154 apartments revive the Roaring Twenties’ refined lifestyle. Original high ceilings, carved mouldings, and coffered wood fittings provide a graceful backdrop for the light-filled rooms’ high-quality furniture, fine elements, and individual art selections. The uniquely shaped rooms’ polished and delicate design language mixes nostalgia for old-style Hamburg apartments with modern aesthetics.
Art Deco touches recall the style emerging during the structure’s 1910 construction along with light and elegant details like the floor’s fine ornamental borders, which the designers discovered during their initial building inspection.
A closer look also reveals echoes of the 1950s, the period of the property’s last major reconstruction following the war. Fraser Suites’ interiors bring all these eras back to life, interwoven and sensitively transported to modern times. Extended-stay guests and locals are invited to journey through time from the building’s origins to the present day.
