Alexandra is the Vice President of Development for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group overseeing all development efforts for the company including hotels, resorts and branded residences with a strong focus on growing the mixed-use footprint.
Prior to joining the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in 2017, Alexandra was with Marriott International as the Vice President of Hotel and Residential Development following the merger with Starwood Hotels and Resorts. At Starwood Hotels and Resorts for 9 years, Alexandra was responsible for building the branded residential business for Asia Pacific and eventually took on a dual role responsible for both branded residential development and hotel development in Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa and Middle East regions. Alexandra has also worked with PriceWaterhouseCoopers as a hospitality consultant and also started her career after university with Marriott International lodging finance based at the global corporate headquarters.
Born and raised as a native New Yorker, Alexandra has a Bachelor’s Degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and a Masters Degree majoring in real estate development from Columbia University. She is also fluent in Mandarin, Chinese.
