Principal, PPA Architects
George Kewin is a managing design architect, studio director, and project leader, having worked for prominent international award winning design-oriented practices. George has diverse and comprehensive experience winning, negotiating, implementing, directing and managing all aspects of multiple large-scale projects from inception to completion.
His current position, as one of four principals at PPA Architects, focuses on the design, management, and implementation of multiple high rise hotels in New York. Prior to this George led a 40-person studio that concentrated on mixed-use, residential, masterplanning, and infrastructure projects in the Middle East and Asia. Other past experience includes projects in Europe, and museum and university buildings in the United States. Additional experience includes retail, residential interior, identity and branding projects for international clients.
Mr. Kewin joined PPA Architects in 2013 to apply his 35 years of project leadership experience to an expanding firm.
Educated at University of California, Berkeley, trained at Harvard University, having worked for 35 years in New York, Mr. Kewin’s firm-wide responsibilities in addition to Design and Project Direction include business development and marketing.
