Marc Jongerius is co-founder and managing director of Zoku, a re-invented apartment hotel concept facilitating global living and working for the independent travelling professional. The first Zoku opened in Amsterdam in May 2016. Marc is leading acquisition, development, international roll-out, strategic partnerships and asset management for this new international hotel chain.
Realising the value- and growth potential of companies is his passion and was Marc’s focus as one the partners of a Netherlands based buy-out fund; he has been active in the private equity sector for more than 10 years. Prior to that, Marc worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) as auditor and M&A transaction services consultant. His clients were mainly large international enterprises.
He is member of the advisory board of a large family office and member of the investment committee of a Mezzanine Investment Fund. To entrepreneurs and start-ups, Marc acts as a coach in helping to determine the best business model and corresponding strategy. Marc holds a Masters Degree in Business Economics from Erasmus University in The Netherlands and Université Paul Cézanne Aix-Marseille in France.
