Michaela has been working in Horwath HTL’s Swiss office since 2010 and as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager.

She has an active role in establishing and implementing Horwath HTL Corporate Design guidelines throughout offices worldwide.

Michaela focuses on market research, development concepts, organisational development and quality management, in addition to being closely involved with asset management work undertaken by our Swiss office.

 Prior to joining Horwath HTL Michaela spent 5 years in the aviation industry where she worked as Head of Administration and Procurement.

In this capacity, she was, among other things, responsible for tender process and contract administration, the administering, scheduling and payroll of over 100 expat crew members, invoicing and accounts receivables, supervision of technical flight hours on behalf Continuing Airworthiness Department.

 She has more than 15 years of international hands-on hospitality experience, having worked in various management positions in Austria, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and the USA. Michaela has acted as Restaurant Manager at the Dorfhotel Gerlizten Alpe (Austria), where she increased sales by 15%. She held Assistant Hotel Managers positions at the Hotel Guarda Val in Lenzerheide (Switzerland), on MS River Harmony, the Golfpark Gut Düneburg in Haren (Germany), the Carpe Diem Resort in Cadaques (Spain) and the Hotel Seewinkel in Fuschl (Austria). She owned and managed a Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale (USA). Her operational experience ranges across housekeeping, rooms’ division, accounting and Food & Beverage. Further she has received formal training in DTP.
