Ursula Fuss completed her academic studies in architecture at the University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden and at the Staedelschule, Academy of Fine Arts under the supervision of Peter Cook. She gained professional experience in various architectural offices until she founded her own architectural practice in Frankfurt. She is also a qualified lecturer at various universities, concentrating on Barrier-Free building and the development of Barrier-Free planning for different architectural concepts. Due to her own physical constraints i.e wheelchair use, she has developed and optimized practical accessibility solutions. She held different lectures and ‘barrier-free’ seminars at several University’s.
Since 2010 her focus is on consulting hotel developments in terms of accessible hotel design.
