Highlights

Competition

Creative Spark

Renowned architects and interior designers will show us their latest work at the event in London. Learn more about the projects – you are the one who has to vote!

Creative Spark 1

Angelina Bar at the Sofitel Metropole Hotel, Hanoi

We received a brief for a “posh bar and whisky lounge” in Hanoi, to replace the existing Angelina bar at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi. The intention was to create the best bar with the biggest selection of whisky in Vietnam.

We proposed a contemporary classic look with a Celtic edge as a concept that would truly be unique in this part of Asia. To ensure a seamless guest experience, we also designed the branding, selected artwork, proposed tableware and designed uniforms, and this was well received.

This bar is for the new breed; suave and sophisticated clientele, hungry for something new. Patrons that cross the threshold would enter a new old world; a place for cool, elite Hanoians to meet and mingle, to be inspired and uplifted.

Creative Spark 2

Shenzhen Raffles Hotel

Raffles, One Shenzhen Bay, an iconic tower reflecting the fast-paced growth and modernity of Shenzhen stands proud as a new beacon in opulent living. Each area has been meticulously curated to create a contemporary interior, embellished with elements inspired by Chinese culture. The hotel, which features 168 spacious guest rooms and suites, occupies the top floors of an 80-storey tower in the new One Shenzhen Bay development. Visitors are transported from the double volume ground floor entrance straight up to the Sky Lobby on the 34th floor. Here, the magnificence of the Pearl River Delta and the rich décor blend seamlessly with the feeling of coming home. A warm and opulent lobby lounge with cosy seating areas truly make this space a home away from home. Hand selected Materials used to create the look include warm timber, decadent marble and metal details, paired with softer accents. A curated mixture of contemporary furniture punctuated with feature oriental pieces give a residential character which makes this lobby unique.

Creative Spark 3

Paramount Hotel Haiyan

First Paramount Hotel in Asia. A new generation hotel. Inspired by the Paramount movies, created the picture perfect moments and dynamic form of entertainment in its own right.

Chinese Restaurant- inspired by the chinese opera, we name the restaurant Miss Shanghai. We turn the the costume fabric, the hairpin and etc. we found on the chinese opera singer into the design elements. Use the new technology and bring the show kitchen to your table by projecting how the chef prepares the food just right before the food served.

The speakeasy- Give our VIP guests a different experience and a bit fun. We turn the executive lounge to the speakeasy craft cocktail lounge. The entrance is hidden. Reflect the interior design of  the 1920’s prohibition era in the US.

Top Integrated Resort Projects – Opportunities beyond Hotels

Integrated Resorts are in development in many countries throughout the world. Following the successful introduction of IRs in Macau and Singapore, many countries see IRs as a way to stimulate the economy, attract foreign investment, increase business and leisure tourist numbers, reduce unemployment, provide multiple economic multipliers, revitalize underdeveloped areas and raise tax dollars.

Successful IRs offer a remarkable combination of hotels, bars, restaurants, retail, gaming, MICE and entertainment experiences all under one roof. The scale of these projects with over 3000 rooms, 1.2 million square feet of MICE space and budgets in excess of US$4 billion dollars, is mind blowing.
